Interested in Speaking at a MH-SHRM Event?

Mile High SHRM calls on leading HR and business thought leaders to present information of great value to the MH-SHRM membership. We conduct two Requests For Presentations (RFP) each year in July and February. During the RFP process, we collect detailed speaker information on topics to be considered during the next six months. Outside of the RFP process, we ask for general information in order to include you in the next round of requests.

Presentation opportunities include the Annual HR Conference, Annual HR Young Professionals Conference, Professional Development Groups (PDGs), Monthly Member Programs (MMPs) and Sponsored Webinars:

  • The Annual HR Conference is held every January. The July Request for Presentations (RFP) is used to select approximately 15 speakers. Each year there is a theme and 3-4 tracks with specific focus that will be detailed in the RFP.
  • The Annual HR Young Professionals Conference is held each summer. This themed event is geared toward developing HR Professionals 35 and under. Past events have included keynote speakers, panels, and Ignite-style presentations.
  • There are ten PDGs, listed in the submission form, with specific focuses and audiences (Global, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, HR Strategy and more) offering 25-30 speaking opportunities each year.
  • There are approximately eight MMPs each year. These events offer networking, breakfast or lunch followed by a speaker presentation.
  • In addition to our HR Conferences, MMPs, and PDGs, MH-SHRM also provides interested parties the opportunity to provide their own certified material to our members through Sponsored Webinars. Sponsored webinars cost $1,000 per session, and have been very popular with an average of over 50 HR Professionals participating. These events are often promoted statewide to other chapters of COSHRM.

The requirements for presentation forum vary but generally need to qualify for educational credits through HRCI and SHRM. Mile High SHRM will facilitate the certification process.
