A Student Member is an individual that is:
1) enrolled at a college or university as a full time undergraduate (12 or more credit hours) or graduate student (9 or more credit hours), and
2) is not employed or working on a full-time basis in an exempt HR position.

Student Members pay reduced dues. They do not have voting rights and may not hold elected office. Student members are required to become members of a SHRM student chapter or if no chapter exists, are encouraged to start one. Please contact CHRA to take advantage of this membership.

Student membership is designed for individuals just exploring human resources and preparing to enter the profession.
