With more than 1,200 members in the greater Denver area, the Colorado Human Resources Association is a treasure trove of benefits. Founded in 1938, we are a proud affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), a professional association for those working in or supporting the field of human resources.
CHRA is a SHRM Superior Merit Award chapter and a Pinnacle Award winner. CHRA provides training, networking opportunities, resources and education.
Membership benefits include:

There are several membership categories:
- Professional Membership: Individual engaged in Human Resource Management; or individual certified by the Human Resource Certification Institute; or associated faculty member; or full time consultant; or full time attorney engaged in Human Resource management. Professional Members have voting rights and may hold office in the Chapter. Current membership in SHRM is required.
- General Membership: Individual actively engaged in the professional practice of Human Resource Management who does not meet the requirements for Professional Member. General Members have voting rights, but may not hold office in CHRA. Membership in SHRM is encouraged.
- Affiliate Membership: Any individual who does not meet the requirements of any of the forgoing categories, but has a bona fide interest in Human Resource Management. Affiliate Members do not have voting rights, and may not hold office. Membership in SHRM is encouraged. We ask that affiliate members in a service field avoid actively selling members at chapter events.
